da-tech 2 LLC is dedicated to customer service. We recently had a call in the late afternoon from a local customer that needed a wire harness by 7am the next morning. We worked diligently through the night and personally delivered the harness in the morning.

From layout to delivery, we are actively involved with the design and ultimate fabrication of harnesses and completed units. Attending to every detail, we oversee all procedures to ensure our ultimate goal – customer satisfaction.

• Layout and design – applying the supplied customer specifications and staff input, we engineer, design and lay out each new job on an assembly board. We then create instructions for assembly, complete with process engineering instructions, cut lists, bills of material and cross reference information.
• Production – wire is cut to length, stripped and hot stamped, all in a labor saving, one stage operation. Terminals are applied during our wire prep operation and a comprehensive inspection is performed prior to releasing product to the floor for final assembly.
• Assembly – harnesses and sub-assemblies are fabricated on assembly fixtures with designated locations for each wire and connector. Continuity is assured. Circuit testing of each unit is performed to ensure no opens or shorts exist.
• Final Inspection – all cables and assemblies are inspected against the drawing and fabrication specifications. U.L. labels are attached only after final inspection approval is reached.

The standards we build and engineer to are: UL/CSA, Underwriters Laboratories/Canadian Standards Association, ANSI, American National Standards Institute and IPC/WHMA-A-620, “Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Harness Assemblies” developed by IPC, the Association Connecting Electronics Industries and WHMA, the Wiring Harness Manufacturer’s Association.
