da-tech 2 provides over 30 years of experience in the design and fabrication of wire harnesses. The original Da-Tech (Design and Assembly Technology) was founded in 1981. The business grew from 2,000 square feet and $ 100,000.00 in sales to 50,000 square feet and $ 6,000,000.00 in sales within 5 years. The firm was sold in 1988 to enable the founding of Design and Systems Consulting to focus on cost reduction measures, quality assurance standards and engineering support to the wire harness industry. da-tech 2, the current Design and Assembly Technology was started in 2004 in Columbus, Ohio.

Certain members of our staff have been involved with the wire harness industry since 1969 having worked initially with organizations involved in the quality field, to direct involvement with wire harness manufacturers. These manufacturers were instrumental in providing wire harnesses to organizations such as, AT&T, IBM, Burroughs, Diebold and NCR to name a few. Our experience levels involved the direct management of wire harness facilities with responsibility of assuring production, engineering, and quality standards were maintained. We also have an accredited ISO internal quality auditor on staff.

We currently provide consulting services and production needs to various companies located in New Mexico, California and Ohio.

Our extensive state-of-the-art equipment gives us unlimited flexibility in working with our customers. We are leaders in the production of quality products and skilled in designing complete assemblies, fabricating all engineering drawings and manufacturing aids.
